1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing this website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Description of services
Click for Notary provides remote online notarization (RON) performed by Virginia-commissioned notaries public using the NotaryCam platform, and coordination of apostille certification for documents intended for international use. We are a notary service provider and are not attorneys; we do not provide legal advice.
3. Notary scope & limitations
- Our notaries are commissioned in the Commonwealth of Virginia and perform notarizations in accordance with Virginia law and applicable RON standards.
- We do not draft, review, or advise on the legal sufficiency of your documents. Signers are responsible for the content and correctness of documents presented for notarization.
- A notarization certifies the identity of the signer and their acknowledgment; it does not guarantee the truthfulness or legal effect of the document itself.
4. Identity verification
Each signer must complete Knowledge-Based Authentication (KBA) and biometric identity verification as required by law. If a signer cannot pass verification, the session may be rescheduled or cancelled. Signers must provide a valid government-issued photo ID; international clients are not required to provide a US address or Social Security Number.
5. Session recording & retention
Every remote notarization session is recorded and retained for a period of 5 years in accordance with applicable regulations. By participating in a session, you consent to being recorded.
6. Fees & payment
- Single documents typically range from $130 to $170.
- Closing packages typically range from $275 to $350.
- Custom quotes are available for multi-document or apostille packages.
- Payment is due at or before the time of service. Fees are quoted before your session and must be agreed upon prior to booking.
7. Apostille coordination
For apostille services, Click for Notary coordinates the notarization and submission of documents to the appropriate state authority. Processing times are set by the issuing authority and are outside our control. We are not responsible for delays caused by government agencies, incomplete documents, or third-party shipping carriers.
8. Accuracy of information
You are responsible for providing accurate contact, identity, and document information. Click for Notary is not liable for errors, delays, or failed notarizations resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the signer.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, logos, graphics, and design — is the property of Click for Notary and may not be reproduced or used without prior written permission.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Click for Notary shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific session or service in dispute.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Virginia.
